Guelph AIDS Walk 2021
Virtual Walk to End the Stigma
October 13 - November 7, 2021
Let's talk about stigma!
How to participate?
Between now and November 7th, we are asking our friends and supporters to virtually participate in our annual AIDS Walk by registering on our Walk Page, and raising funds pledged towards an activity of your choosing. Your Walk event does not need to be a physical activity! It can be a bbq, a show, whatever you like! Registration is Pay-What-You-Can, with a suggested donation of $25 - $30. Registered participants who raise $30 will receive a special one-of-kind AIDS Walk tote created with artist Abby Nowakowski.
If you are walking/rolling/running, you can choose how many kilometres, make it a solo event or create a team, and fundraise to help support the programs offered by ARCH - HIV/AIDS Resources & Community Health. Invite friends, family, coworkers to support your walk!
Want an extra challenge? Take on the ARCH CHALLENGE! Raise money solo or with a team!

Why participate?
AIDS Walks are an integral legacy of the global AIDS movement -- communities coming together to fight stigma, political apathy, honour those lost and raise money for treatment and delivery of services.
Stigma continues to impact people who are living with and affected by HIV. 1 in 5 people living with HIV are denied health services because of stigma and discrimination. HIV stigma and discrimination often co-exist in multiple layers, intersecting with gender, sexuality, race, physical and mental health, income and more.
Whether it's HIV-stigma, homophobia, transphobia, anti-Black racism, stigma against people who use drugs or misogyny -- the one thing that all populations that are disproportionately affected by HIV have in common is that we all face stigma. So join us this October! Let's talk about the impact of stigma and fight against it!
ARCH continues to respond to HIV/AIDS in our community by providing education about how to get tested and how to prevent HIV. We also offer HIV clinical services and support to people living with HIV/ AIDS, their families, friends and caregivers. Proceeds from the campaign will be used to help deliver services for individuals and communities who are affected by and at-risk for HIV/AIDS in the Guelph- Wellington and Grey-Dufferin Counties.
Thank you to our partners, including Cameletti & Cameletti Law Firm, RLB Chartered Professional Accountants and the United Way.
