Grambassadors receive the following perks as a part of our program:

1. A Complimentary Entry into one 2022 Grandma’s Marathon Weekend Event and one Young Athletes Foundation Event (if desired)
   
   
2. Grandma’s Marathon Training Swag
   
   
3. A chance to be featured on our social channels
   
   
4. Additional opportunities for our Ambassadors first: Including pre-race interviews and news stories, merchandise giveaways, and invitations to other race weekend events.
   
   
5. Additional incentives based on involvement

We review each application carefully and evaluate them individually but recommend:

1. Strong passion for Grandma’s Marathon community
   
   
2. Past Participant in an in-person Grandma’s Marathon Weekend Event
   
   
3. Individuals with strong demonstrable skills in one or more of the following areas: social media/blogging, content creation (video/photo), community outreach, group recruitment, involvement in running clubs or other health-focused social groups

While having a substantial social media presence is a positive, we are also looking to build a diverse group of ambassadors from different backgrounds and communities with complementary skill sets such as content creation (photography/videography), community outreach, promotional event planning, etc.

As a Grambassador we ask you to commit to the following:

1. Attend the 2022 Grandma’s Marathon Weekend
   
   
2. Be an ambassador from October 2021- June 2022
   
   
3. Allow Grandma’s Marathon to share your content on our social media channels and blog. Credit will be given to ambassadors for creating content.

Being a Grambassador is not financially compensated in any way. We do not subsidize travel or training expenses or issue payments of any kind. Grambassadors serve through the end of June and then must reapply each year to continue. Grandma’s Marathon reserves the right to remove any ambassador from the program at its discretion.
