PARK & RIDE TO THE START
If you're driving to the Oxford Half, we recommend using Park & Ride. Tickets can be bought at one of the four sites (Pear Tree, Thornhill, and Redbridge) on the day. Parking near the start is extremely limited. For more information about the designated Park & Ride locations, see the Park & Ride map here.
Timings
- Park & Ride services will operate from 06:30 – 09:00 on Sunday 17 October
- Return journeys to the Park & Ride sites will begin at 11:00 and continue until 15:00 on race day
The walk from the bus stops to the race village will take around 15 minutes, so make sure you factor this into your journey time. Signage and volunteers will be in place to direct you from the bus stop to the race village.
Pricing
Prices are as per council prices charged on event day - £4.80 for car park space and bus ticket and £2.80 for a bus ticket only. Three accompanied children (up to and including 15 yrs) can travel free with each fare paying adult.
Parking Rules and Restrictions
- Priority access onto the buses will be given to pre-purchased ticket holders on race day.
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- Tickets can be presented via a mobile device on the day.
- Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems will be operating in each car park. To avoid penalties, you must park your registered car in the car park you selected.
Race Day Tips
- Don’t forget to bring your ticket with you if you purchased in advance - print your email receipt or show it on your phone. This will be required for both your journey to the race and your return to the car park.
- If you do not have your ticket you will be required to buy a new one before boarding the bus. This will be charged at the normal rate.
- If you have not pre purchased, we recommend getting to the sites early to avoid queues.
