Help Heather raise money

This coming Saturday Oct. 16th I will be participating (along with Bryan and the kids) in the Move 4 Hope Fundraiser in support of Adventure 4 Change. A4C is an organization dear to our hearts - situated in North Waterloo and active in the Sunnydale community, among others, where we lived for many years. From the time I moved to Waterloo over 10 years ago until sometime in between the birth of my two kids, I was actively involved in assisting with leading the A4C youth program and day camps. This is an organization that cares deeply about caring, supporting, empowering, and loving those that based on a variety of factors seem to have a disproportionate number of hurdles. Through child and youth programming, leadership training, individual mentorship, and intentional community connection, A4C is an integral part of  supporting families in marginalized neighbourhoods.

This year in particular, I think we can all agree on how much HOPE matters. By donating to this fundraising campaign you are contributing to this good, good work - enabling A4C to continue being agents for HOPE.
