Eligibility: Open to any athlete registered and in good standing with Weightlifting Nova Scotia or their Provincial Sporting Organization.
Entry Limit: A maximum of 48 entries will be accepted for this competition.
Host Club: Crossfit Basinview
Events: All IWF weight categories - male and female
Schedule: First weigh-in at 7:30 am. First lift at 9:30. These times are tentative. Full schedule to be published after registration closes.
Awards: Top three per category. Best Lifter - male and female
Rules: The most recent IWF rule book will govern the competition, with the following exceptions:
- Singlets are preferred, but not mandatory. Those without singlets may wear close-fitting shorts and a tucked-in t-shirt
- Athletes who do not register a successful lift in the snatch will be permitted to compete in the clean and jerk.
Qualifying: This competition is a qualifying event for:
- 2022 Canadian Junior Championships
- 2022 Canadian Senior Championships
Doping Control: This competition is subject to doping control (SDC). The Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES) will perform the tests at their discretion. Athletes should be familiar with CCES sample collection procedures.

COVID Protocol
All participants, including but not limited to athletes, coaches, technical officials, volunteers, and spectators, must comply with Nova Scotia COVID-19 restrictions:
- Must provide Proof of Full Vaccination. Note that this means you must have received your second dose a minimum of 14 days before the event (i.e. on or before November 13)
- Must provide government issue photo ID to verify your identity.
- Must wear a mask at all times within the venue, except in the warmup area and the competition platform area (Field of Play).
Participants who do not comply with these requirements will not be permitted to enter the venue.
Refunds
Refunds are available until the close of registration - November 21, subject to the following:
- There are no refunds for Weightlifting Nova Scotia Memberships
- RaceRoster fees are not refunded
Athletes who are refused entry due to non-compliance with the COVID Protocol will NOT receive a refund.
