2021 GCRC Fall 5k & 1 Mile

The Mayor's Cup has moved to Ocean Springs with a new name! This year's GCRC Fall 5k Run will start at Fort Maurepas in Ocean Springs and feature USATF certifications for state record eligibility in the 1 mile and 5k. And adults participating in the 1 mile race will be eligible for prize money!

• 9:00 AM start for 1 Mile
• 9:30 AM start for 5k
• Both 5k and 1 Mile USATF Certified Courses and eligible for state records
• Drinks, fruit, and other snacks after the race.
• 5k Trophies:
  • Top Three Overall Male and Females
  • Masters Male and Female
  • Grand Masters Male and Female
  • Seniors Male and Female
  • Top three finishers in the usual 5 year age divisions.
  • First three Male & Female Racewalkers
• Prize money for 1 mile:
  • $75 for 1st overall Male & Female
  • $50 for 2nd overall Male & Female
  • $25 for 3rd overall Male & Female
• Trophies 1 mile:
  • Top 3 boys and girls ages 10-12
  • Top 3 boys and girls ages 9 & under
• 5k: $20 for GCRC Members, $22 for Non-Members (Now you can become a new member or renew your membership online through Race Roster)
  • 5k registration includes registration for the 1 mile
  • $25 for late registration the morning of the race.
• 1 Mile (Children under 12): $10
