Run for the Lights

The 2021 9th Annual "Run for the Lights" 5K is BACK!

The Chippewa Falls Parks & Recreation Department would like to invite you and your organization to join us for the 9^th Annual “Run for the Lights” 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Held at Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls, this family-fun event supports the Christmas Village in Irvine Park that welcomes visitors to enjoy a holiday light display like no other.

In past years the 5K “Run for the Lights” event has hosted nearly 400 participants and we hope to exceed that amount this year! The race will start at 4:00pm and conclude as participants enter the Christmas Village as the lights turn on!

 Registration Information

Early-Bird Registration is now open for our 9th Annual Run for the Lights 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk, on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

This annual event supports the Irvine Park Christmas Village and allows us to expand year after year! Early-Bird registration is $20/person (includes long-sleeve race shirt) and is available online (follow link below) or in-person at the Parks & Rec Office through Friday, October 8th! Grab your friends and family and join us for a run/walk through Irvine Park, ending in the Christmas Village as it lights up!

Registration check-in begins at 2:45pm at the Marshall Park Warming Shelter with the race starting promptly at 4:00pm. Follow the link below for additional information and online registration!
