Come one, come all to the live CVRR Jingle Bell Run, our annual fundraising event for the Comox Valley Food Bank. Join us in beautiful Seal Bay Nature Park on Sunday, December 5, 2021 for a 10:00 am start!
Let’s commune with nature along with our families and friends, other runners and walkers as we come together to lift up our greater community. With Covid, more families are in need. The Food Bank relies on our kindness, and they have greater purchasing power with monetary gifts. Donations of $20.00 or more receive a tax receipt. Thank you for your generosity! If you are unable to come out on December 5 but want to support our efforts, you can still make a donation to the Food Bank on this site.
Please park at the Hardy Road parking lot (carpool if feasible) and walk along the marked trail through the forest to Jingle Bell Central. Choose to run, walk, or walk/run the 7.3 km Forest Loop trail (check out the Seal Bay trail map) or a shorter 3.2 km trail. Both trails are marked with sawdust and red bows. The event begins at 10:00 am with all runners and walkers present.
Dress festive, sing Christmas songs along the trails, and join us after your run/walk for some coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. Santa will be there!
We love our dogs, but we want everyone to be and feel safe (dogs included), so please leave your pet at home.
