2021/22 IRA Virtual Winter Run Series
The Interior Running Association is happy to introduce the 2021 Virtual Winter Run Series. 100% of net proceeds from this series will be donated to Red Cross BC.
Here's how it works:
A. Use this page to register for the series. The price of $10 is for the entire series and you can run as many or as few races as you like.
B. The 2021/22 Virtual Winter Run Series has 6 runs over 6 weeks with two levels of challenge. For the first level of challenge, the 6 runs total the distance of a marathon (42.2 km). For the second level challenge, the 6 runs total the distance of two marathons (84.4 km). When registering for the series, each runner will select either: Level 1 challenge (single marathon) or Level 2 challenge (double marathon).
C. Run the distances listed below in the order and timeframe suggested. We recommend that you run on a safe course near your hometown. Each run must be completed and the results uploaded by January 31, 2022.
D. After you have completed each run, enter your results by logging into RaceRoster.com or by using your name and registration number. Select the event and enter your time. For proof of completion, we ask that you upload a file/photo showing date and distance when you enter your result for each run. A distance tracking app, such as Strava, Garmin or Runkeeper, can provide the necessary data to submit, but is not necessary. If you need assistance, please contact Danny Kermode, IRA Director of Timing, at dannykermodeIRA@gmail.com
