Running with your tribe of family and friends!
Get a team of four together and run or walk in the inaugural Tribe Team Relay.
Instead of running a marathon by yourself, gather 3 other crazy runners or walkers and conquer it together.
Each runner must complete 1 lap of each of the 3 courses.
First team that completes the relay is crowned champion!
How to Register Your Tribe:
First, the designated team Captain will register and select your team division.
- Open Divisions: Men's, Women's, and Coed (2 men, 2 women).
- Master's Divisions: Men's, Women's and Coed.
- To qualify for the Masters Division, all members of your team must be age 40 or older.
Second, choose your team name. Don't worry, you can change it later if you can't think of anything good. Please email info@startlineracing.com to change your name.
Third, gather your tribe together. As we get closer to the event we will be reaching out to team captains to gather your tribe's information. If you already have your tribe set then please complete this form after you register. Make sure you have everyone's information before starting the form.

Race Day Registration and check in will be available beginning at 7:00am.
We accept cash, check, and credit cards on race day
- Prices on race will be $200 for a team of 4
Due to the common start/finish line, there is no bag check for this event.
This is a team event only. No individual entries please.
Packet Pick-Up Opportunity
All team bibs and shirts are picked up by the team captain or designated representative and are not available for individual pickup.
- Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Rio Vista Park (race location) beginning at 7am.
Tribe Village
The Tribe Village is where teams will be able to hang out, recover, and mingle with other teams. The village is located at the start, finish, and exchange point. After each trail you run you can listen to music, nap, eat, or veg out until you run again. We just ask that you are considerate of your neighbors.
Team Sites:
Each team will have a location to set up their team site in the Tribe Village.
- We do not assign specific sites inside the Tribe Village, but we do ask that your team take up no more than 100 square feet, the size of a 10' x 10' pop up tent.
- Teams will be allowed into Rio Vista Park on Sunday, January 30th starting at 6:30am. Teams will not be allowed in the park on Friday.
- You will need to carry all of your site equipment to the Tribe Village so please plan accordingly!

Tribe Awards
Not only will your tribe be competing for First Place and bragging rights but you will also be competing for:
Overall Team Awards for Top Three in all Divisions (Open Male, Open Female, Open Coed, Masters Male, Masters Female and Masters Coed)
- To qualify for the Masters Division, all members of your team must be age 40 or older.
Fastest Individual Leg for each course (Open and Masters, Male and Female)
Best Team Camp (This is completely subjective and up to the Race Director)
Most Spirited Tribe
The Awards Tent will open at approximately 10:15am for teams to pickup their awards. No need to hang out until every team finishes.
