Bear and Red are two beautiful mountains just behind the heart of Mission, BC on the ancestral land of the Stó:lō Nation including the Matsqui, Sema:th, Kwantlen, Katzie, Sq'ewlets, and Leq'a:mel territories.
These routes will tour you through mossy forests, tall trees, and boast views displaying the surrounding mountain ranges. All distances are loop-based routes so there are no out-and-backs or double loops here! Expect beautiful trails capturing new scenery the whole way through from start to finish. All distances will start and end at the main parking lot on Dewdney Trunk Road.

From here, you are hitting some flowy downhill and smooth trails until the next climb, hitting the half way point as you descend back towards the start line. Once you are back at the start you are 12 km into your race and will grab any aid you need and cruise on through to the second half of your course! The second half features Red Mountain with another beautiful gradual climb, views of the Fraser Valley, and a variety of smooth trails before finishing with the technical descent.
