Canada Day Weekend 2022
EPIC Canadian - Run for Canada
(This registration isn't open right now, and a few details below have changed due to pandemic deferrals- the 2022 Challenge medal will now be the second 'A' in CANADA, and there will probably be a change to the event schedule, now that we have three Canada Day Long Weekends, starting in 2022, then 2023, and 2024 - details to follow this Fall)
The 2022 EPIC Canadian Run For Canada events are again hosted at Grahams Grove Park on the shores of Lake Banook in Dartmouth, starting Friday Evening, July 1st, at 7PM with the EPIC@Night 6.1K, then Saturday morning , July 2nd, at 8AM for The Maple Leaf 10K, followed at 9:30AM by The Canadian 5K.
2022 marks the return of the Mini-Moose Challenge! Complete all three distances over two days for a total of 21.1K. And of course we continue the same race format EPIC pioneered within Canada in 2014, the EPIC Double-In-A-Day: two distances, back-to-back, and the additional challenge of posting your best total time for the 15K distance as well.
Every participant completing any two (or all three) distances will receive our 2022 "It's Not Easy" challenge medal, the next letter in our CANADA medals series, for 2022, the letter 'A'.
All courses are accurately measured, well marked & signed, with both police and volunteer traffic control, and fully supported for both Runners and Walkers at all levels. In addition, both our 10K and 5K courses are Athletics Canada Distance Certified™. There are portable toilets and multiple water stops en route, and refreshments at the finish line - including bagels and Canada Day Cake!
