Welcome to Team Cassie + Friends

Cassie + Friends is proud to be returning to the Around The Bay Road Race and Charity Challenge for our 4th year! As Canada's only charity focused 100% on kids and families affected by juvenile arthritis, we are looking forward to growing our team of patients, families, healthcare professionals from McMaster Children's Hospital to join us as we raise awareness and fundraise for a pain-free future for kids!

We are excited to offer free kids registration in the Around the Bay Race Charity Challenge though the Team Cassie + Friends Youth Ambassador Program - learn more here!

We are also very excited to launch #YourFirst5 Fundraising challenge! We challenge you to get at least 5 donations towards your fundraising page. And when you get five, you’ll automatically be entered to win fun prizes! Not sure how to get your first 5 donations? Start by making a donation to yourself, then ask a friend (or two), a family member, gym buddy and a coworker/classmate!

How Cassie + Friends helps kids in the Hamilton area: 

- Parent Support & Equipment Cupboard

- Support for McMaster Children's Hospital Steppingstones Program- an intensive, play-based approach that helps children build strength and learn proper walking habits using a kid-sized obstacle course to retrain and strengthen the joints.

-Access to expert-led pediatric rheumatology webinars on topics such as Biologics, Methotrexate, Physical Activity, Nutrition, Self-care for Caregivers and more!

- Funding juvenile arthritis research through the launch of the Cassie + Friends Care & Research Network (CREW)\
