My Story…
Every October, our family helps to raise awareness on the obstacles faced by those in Canada with dyslexia. Even through 2 - 3 kids in every classroom have dyslexia, very little support is provided not only to the kids, but the families.
October is #DyslexiaAwareness month. This year, Greg, Tasha, Kate, and I are participating in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon to raise funds for Dyslexia Canada. Dyslexia Canada is a national charity that provides webinars for teachers and librarians to learn how to support their students, mentorship for families trying to navigate the system, and a community for kids so they know they are not alone.
Please help us meet our goal of raising $2000 for the #MarkItRead for Dyslexia campaign to help kids feel empowered to stand tall, not be ashamed of who they are, and share their gifts with the world.
Donate to help Christine raise money for 2022 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon’s fundraising campaign.
