I am running in solidarity with refugees all over the world who have to run from situations of danger often taking only what little they are able to carry.
My fundraising efforts will support IAFR Canada programs that allow us to help people survive and recover from forced displacement.
IAFR Canada focuses on recovery work which seeks to come alongside people in order to restore hope by strengthening community, faith, emotional well-being and personal capacity.
That’s why I’m participating in this year’s IAFR Canada Run For Refugees. These funds will help displaced people recover through building community, and offering education, trauma care and medical support and more.
