I've been involved with the Friends of South Asia for a couple of years (actually, this is my second time with the group). I'm proud to be chair of a dynamic committee at the ROM who work hard to promote a global South Asian presence at the museum. We've been able to host tours, hold talks with the ROM, participate in an Instagram pilot project for the ROM as well as contribute to the acquisition of contemporary South Asian art from the diaspora and to a catalogue of Swapnaa Tamhane's recent exhibition called Mobile Palace. 

We aim to do a lot more with the funds you donate! Help us strengthen the Global South Asian collection at the Royal Ontario Museum!
