My Story…
Hi everyone!
My name is Sola, I am a program admin at Autism In Mind Children's Charity. I joined the team not long ago, but it was fate and a higher purpose that led me here.
This is my second time participating in this fundraising marathon. It is still a surprise that 1 out of 68 children in Ontario are diagnosed with Autism. It takes a lot of effort and finances to support children with Autism. Even with government funding, the expenses that parents face is still a burden.
We can all take small steps to assist and support these families in our own way. The fundraising goal this year is to raise at least $60,000 for our AIM Without Limits Subsidized Therapy Program to make this program accessible to more families. These are integrated subsidized therapy services that includes 40-60 hours of IBI (Intensive Behavioral Intervention) per month at a low flat rate that makes it financially accessible. This support program will allow the children to receive services for up to one year while waiting for government funding.
Please take the first step with me by either joining me at this marathon or donating towards a great cause. To join the marathon click the link here >> https://raceroster.com/34025?aff=Q3HQ6
Alternatively you can just make a donation at the top of this page to support families with autistic children. Your donation can make a big difference and impact for those in need.
Thank you!
