My Story…

It is my honor to join the Toronto Waterfront 5K walking Marathon with Dr. Doobay and his team on October 16 to support the  dialysis clinics in Guyana. 
Why am I doing this? I am a cancer warrior currently fighting stage 4 breast and bone cancer. I am fortunate that I am in a country where I can receive proper treatment for the disease I have. Unfortunately in Guyana and many other 3rd world countries they do not have this privilege. Dr. Doobay and his team has already established two clinics for dialysis in Annandale/Demerara and another in Berbice. The third is going to be in Parika which serves all races and communities whether they can afford treatment or not. No one is turned away.

Help save a Life and Help Someone get their Vision Back

Global Care Outreach Program - Guyana Dialysis & Eye Clinics, in collaboration with Canadian McMaster University Faculty of Health, mission is to provide vital support to help those with kidney failure and low vision to live longer, healthier and better lives. We do this by funding research, dialysis and eye treatments for vulnerable people that are socioeconomically disadvantaged. Your assistance will go to whoever need it most, regardless of race, age, religion or gender. Let’s reply as a joint force to the pain and sufferings of others.
