Help Dale raise money

Yes, it is that time of the year where I am seeking support for my Scotiabank run for Evangel Hall Mission.  Where did the year go!  It is amazing how quickly time has passed, but not our memories and experiences.  And for me, many of my memories are how Evangel Hall Mission attempted once again to do its very best.  And for me, this past year has been interesting.

Unfortunately, our takeout line has grown even longer, with more people in the drop-in center and new faces constantly appearing and staying.  We are now providing some days more than 200 meals a day, and operating six days a week. Times and services have expanded, and so have the  needs of the many. 

I still believe that Evangel Hall Mission is a great place for the people on the streets, the homeless and the not so well off to gather and receive a meal or two and allow them the opportunity to talk to someone if they wish.  I believe that loneliness is a significant factor in our broad society and by having a place like Evangel Hall Mission allows people who are homeless or socially isolated to find a safe and caring haven.  We offer material, emotional, and spiritual support to help break the bonds of loneliness and despair.  Today, everybody is welcomed into our community with caring eyes, open ears and kind words.  And hopefully one day with smiling mouths.

So today, once again, I am hoping that you can support Evangel Hall Mission (ehm)  with my run.
