Our story…
The Toronto Section of Canadian Humanitarian has been raising funds through the Charity Challenge to send children to school in Ethiopia since 2011. Canadian Humanitarian also provides health care to the children in their education projects and their caregivers, mostly grandmothers. Several of us have been to Ethiopia to volunteer with Canadian Humanitarian, and we have seen first-hand the success of this organization tackling poverty and providing hope and a future to thousands.
