Hi there,
Earlier this year I lost my sister Kathleen to Ovarian Cancer. She was diagnosed only 11 months earlier. Initially it was thought that the surgery she had was going to remove all the cancer and she'd recover. However, a few months later a small growth was found. She fought very hard, had multiple surgeries, chemo, but ultimately the cancer overtook her body. I'm running in this race in her honour and to help raise money to find a cure for Ovarian Cancer.
