Our story…
On October 16th, we will be running the Toronto Waterfront half marathon in an effort to raise money for The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation (CAMH). Many people struggle to understand their own personal psychology, and the unknown causes them to feel afraid, trapped, and hopeless. No one should give their mental illness the power to limit their capabilities as an individual.
Over the years, our family has developed a passion for mental wellness; some of us even developing careers in the field! Considering this, we are all firm believers that action paired with radical self-acceptance can lead towards a healthier mind. Adopting "action" as the forefront of our half marathon fundraiser, we encourage you to donate! Using the amazing words from the CAMH foundation, "it's time to transform the way we understand and treat mental illness."
Thank you!
