Frigid 10K and Frosty 5K
The in-person Frigid 10K and Frosty 5K will be hosted at the Royal Hamilton Yacht Club. Both the 5KM and 10KM route is an out-and-back style course that starts and ends at the yacht club.
Due to the uncertainty around the COVID-19 Pandemic, if the in-person event cannot proceed as planned, it will be switched to a virtual race. In the case of cancellation of the in-person race, we will not be issuing any refunds or returning the difference in pricing. You will still receive your race kit and can complete your race on your own and submit your results.

Race Start Times:
The Frosty 5K will start at 9:00AM
The Frigid 10K will start at 10:30AM
The Cool Combo participants will start at 9:00AM and 10:30AM respectively.
There will be no parking available at the yacht club as that is where we will be setting up our start/finish line and tents. Parking is available at the Ice Skating Rink at Pier 8 (preferred) as well as the Leander Boat Club (limited).
Vaccine Policy:
You must be fully vaccinated in order to participate in this event. We will be asking for proof of vaccination at the time of bib pickup.

When should I complete the virtual race?
You can complete the virtual race anytime up until Saturday April 30th.
When should I expect to receive my race kit if I paid for shipping?
The race medals have been delayed, so we will be starting to ship out the race kits at the beginning of March.

Track your virtual run/walk and submit your results for the Chilly Half Marathon, Frosty 5K and Frigid 10K using the ASICS Runkeeper™ app
How to track your run/walk and record your results using the RunkeeperTM app:
1. From your mobile device, go to your Race Roster dashboard for this event HERE
2. Click on the “Connect to my app” button, where you will be asked to confirm your name within the app (confirm your name and the event will be added to your app)
3. Revisit the Runkeeper™ app when you are ready to participate. From your start screen, click the flag symbol (bottom right) and select the race to start recording.
4. Complete your distance and save the activity. Your results will be automatically posted to the Race Roster leaderboard HERE
5. From the results page, click on your name to see your finisher summary
How to submit your results without RunkeeperTM app:
Please submit the results for your virtual race on the results page.
1. Make sure you are logged into your participant dashboard here.
2. Go to the virtual results page: https://results.raceroster.com/results/wnwrswhu4yqqp7yf
3. Click the submit a virtual result button
4. Enter your time it took you to complete the race and submit your results.
Everyone who posts their results will receive a virtual finisher's certificate.

The Waterfront Hotel has kindly given us a discounted rate of $139.00 + tax per room for the night of Friday March 11th 2022 to offer participants of the Frigid 10K and Frosty 5K. There are limited quantities available.

Reservations must be made on or before Friday, February 25th, 2022, otherwise the deal will expire.
*please note that a $10.00 charge will apply for each adult to a maximum of 4 adults per room. Group rates will be offered one day prior to the arrival date and one day after, subject to availability. Parking is extra and is $7.00 + tax.
