About the Race
Come out for a morning of family fun & fitness! This will be a chip timed 5K run or walk with an exciting water feature at the end of the race and fun activities for the whole family! All activities will be held at The Venetian Center in Leesburg, FL!
The inaugural Dash & Splash 5K will raise funds for the new UF Health Leesburg Hospital Simulation (SIM) Center. Nursing students entering professional practice often find it challenging to transfer their classroom learning into daily clinical practices. The new UF Health Leesburg Hospital SIM Center will provide students with interactive, practice-based instruction and offer nurse educators the opportunity to meet each students’ individual educational needs. Simulations will include skill labs, exam rooms, and rooms with manikins and audio-visual equipment specifically designed to train and equip high-quality nurses right here in our community.
What's Included?
Included with your registration is a t-shirt, finisher medal, race bib, light snacks and drinks, a goody bag filled with swag from our sponsors and vendors & family fun post-race activities!
Also included is chip timing provided by Southern Timing, LLC. All participants will be timed with Live Results which includes an individual results page complete with a breakdown of your results, finisher certificate and a 20 second clip of you crossing the start/finish line!
Packet Pick-Up
There will be a pre-race packet pick-up held on Friday, March 25th at Mammoth Oak Brewing Company from 3pm - 7pm. You are allowed to pick up a packet for a family member or friend. If you cannot make it to PPU race day registration & PPU will open at 6:30am.

Chip Timing
