Carmel Marathon Weekend is one of the top-50 largest marathons in the US, won national awards and consistently ranks as a top-25 Boston Qualifiers (per marathonguide.com)

Come to Carmel, Indiana, voted one of the best small town suburbs in the US. Our unique race-day format includes all race distances utilizing the same start AND finish line! This allows participants to arrive, prepare and start together then easily find each other at the finish. Marathon and half marathon runners start together in the south two lanes with the 10K and 5K together in the north two lanes of City Center Boulevard. The four lanes are separated by a grass medium for 300 yards until the first turn where the courses turn in opposite directions. The official start/finish area and all race activities are located next to the Palladium Music Center, at the corner of 3rd Avenue and City Center Drive. Free parking, shuttles from hotels, beer garden and more. Join us!

The specially designed 26.2 mile USATF certified course is flat and fast! Enjoy the first 13 miles with the half marathoners on easy, flat roads as you run the start/finish celebration area. The second half takes you on a long, shaded paved park trail slightly downhill before you circle back to return to the Carmel Arts and Design District, and the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts. Over 24% of our finishers ran BQ times in 2021

The 10K starts with the 5K the splits after mile one. The first half has a few hills but the second half of the 10K is fast. Save your strength and enjoy the strong finish to the finish line. Age group awards for the top 3 in each age group.

4-person Marathon Relay + Driver Closed

Four-person relay teams will exchange near the 6.55-mile mark, the start/finish line (mile 13.1) and the 19.65-mile mark. Teams must provide a driver to transport their team's runners to/from the 6.55- and 19.65-mile exchange points. The driver and all four runners will receive a finisher's medal. Runners must be 11 years of age or older be to participate in the relay.
