Help Rachel raise money

On April 30th, I am running 10KM in the Mississauga Marathon Charity Challenge in support of the work of Youth Unlimited. 

Our team aims to recruit 25 runners and raise $15,000, which will support the staffing and program costs of YU's South-Central Etobicoke team and myself, the Director of Engagement at Youth Unlimited.

More than 300 kids and teens participate in programs that the South-Central Etobicoke team runs every year! Each of these programs is well-run, fun and welcoming, and heavily subsidized to ensure even the most vulnerable in our community can participate. These outreach programs include the Lakeshore Soccer League, Young Moms program, day camps, youth leadership courses, initiatives to address food insecurity in the community, and more. Having seen these programs in action, I am excited to be running in support of the great work they are doing in our community! 

As the Director of Engagement for Youth Unlimited, my role is to strategically lead YU's connection with donors, partnerships, and potential staff and volunteers. I support the sustainable growth and impact of our ministries across the GTA through team leadership, communication strategies and relationship building. I have a passionate heart to see the transformation of young people in the GTA and I'm thrilled to be a part of the YU team, using my expertise in communications to serve our staff and Toronto's youth each day.
