My Story…
As many of you know, I'm a member of the Grand Philharmonic Choir. It's an organization very close to my heart. I'm participating in the 5K Scotiabank virtual run/walk in April, in order to raise funds for the choir.
We all know how important it is to have art and culture in our lives. The choir's usual revenue sources have been disrupted during the pandemic, so this fund-raising event is more important to us than ever. The past few years have been very difficult for the arts community being unable to perform, but we are very excited to be returning to the concert halls in the coming spring. This is also a very exciting year for us as we are beginning our centennial year! Supporting the choir through this charity is a great way to help us continue for another hundred years.
One way you can show your support for the GPC's return and to help with our continued singing is to contribute to our 5K fundraiser, taking place April 30th. No contribution is too small, but any contributions over $20 will be issues an official tax receipt! Please consider sponsoring me -- you can do it online and you get an instant tax receipt for donations over $20.
Walking with me this year will be Pollywog, our Bernedoodle. She is super excited to be participating in her second charity event!
Donate to help Linda raise money for 2022 Mississauga Marathon’s fundraising campaign.
