There will be Hot Food in including a Hot Vegan Choice
At the Kia of Port Charlotte Half/5k/Fun Walk, you will be able to enjoy a great hot meal after your event. At this race, you will have choices. Either the traditional pancakes and Boar's Head Bacon, or a delicious, hot, vegan bean dish served with vegan cornbread. You don't need to be vegan to love it!
Here is all the great stuff that makes this such an awesome race!
- An accurately measured course with mile markers.
- At least 8 hydration stations along the course each with porta-potties available. Also, Base Performance energy gel stations along the course. More will be added if the weather indicates it is prudent.
- There will be 3 packet pickup locations including on Race Day.
- All runners will have a choice between a T-Shirt or a Tank Shirt or a Long Sleeve T-Shirt for an additional $10. Every runner will also receive a beautiful Custom Finisher Medal that is unique to your race. You must be registered by March 10, 2022, to be guaranteed a Race Shirt in your size.
- All Half Marathon Runners will receive a Personalized Race Bib. You must be registered by February 24, 2022, to get a Personalized Bib.
- After your race, you will be treated to a hot breakfast. including a hot vegan choice, including Ice Cold Beer.
- Our overall awards will be awarded in both the Half and the 5K
- Age Group awards will go 3 deep in both races.
- All Masters awards will be awarded in both races.
- Both races will start and finish at Kia of Port Charlotte's amazing property at 202 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte.
- You will also be able to purchase extra food and Drink Wrist Bands for your friends and family that are attending with you but not running. This will give them access to the breakfast so they can eat with you! These are available in our Race Store on our Race Roster Site.
- There will a raffle and the winner will receive a beautiful Kayak. There will also be a 50/50 raffle. Tickets for both raffles are also available in our store.
- Plenty of Free parking.
- Registration insurance is available when you complete your registration form.
- There will also be a Corn Hole tournament for your friends and family that don't run.

On the morning of the Kia of Port Charlotte Half Marathon, you have the opportunity to play in the First Annual Kia of Port Charlotte Cornhole Championship.
It will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Kia of Port Charlotte's beautiful facility at 202 Tamiami Trail, Port Charlotte, FL.
It will be a double-elimination tournament. You can see all the rules below.
Each participant will receive a Pancake and Bacon breakfast and 2 cold beers the day of the tournament.
Also, every player gets five (5) free 2022 Kayak raffle tickets. (a $20 value)
The raffle drawing will be in December 2022.
All players will also receive a custom Corn Hole Championship t-shirt.
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prizes will consist of Trophies and CASH.
The Winning Team will receive free entry into next year's tournament, $500 Cash, and a really amazing very large Trophy!
The second-place team will receive $250 Cash and a really nice trophy.
The third-place team will receive $100 Cash and a nice trophy.

This is a traditional walk-a-thon where obtain sponsor to donate through your personal site to Kia of Port Charlotte's Charity. It cost $30 to register to walk in the Walk-a-thon. As soon as you raise $60 you original $30 registration fee is either refunded to you or you can donate it to the charity as well. Everyone gets a custom t-shirt , a hot pancake breakfast and 2 cold beers for participating. You need to be over 21 for the beers!
