Once a Red Crosser, always a Red Crosser. 

From 2014 to 2016, I worked with the Philippine Red Cross monitoring a Haiyan Recovery Program. That period was an eye-opener for me. I saw how communities in the seven municipalities we were serving struggled to get back on their feet. But the Philippine Red Cross provided thousands of housing, livelihood support, health and education infrastructure and services, and DRR awareness. I saw with my own eyes how many lives were positively touched by the work that Red Cross does. I will never forget that time and I know in my heart, I will always be a Red Crosser. 

Dear friends, do you have an extra P200.00? Can you skip a posh coffee cup today for a cause? I first ran the Million Volunteer Run way back in 2016. In 2022, I am running the Million Volunteer Run with 100 kilometers from January 20 to February 20. I am also raising funds for Red Cross. The Philippine Red Cross has always been around to help Filipinos in time of need. I hope to help them reach out to more people by raising at least P25,000.00. You can help! PS. I started this fundraiser with only a 100USD target because I know that a lot of people are having difficulties right now. But people's generosity knows no pandemic. We give even if it hurts because it's for a good cause. Typhoon Odette (Rai) wreaked havoc in the Visayas and Mindanao regions on December 16/17. As expected, the Philippine Red Cross is first on the ground to provide relief to those impacted by the supertyphoon. The generosity of my friends and the people who believe in me emboldened me to increase my fundraising target to 500 USD. It's still not much, these are hard times for many.
