Help us raise money

The ALDI National Warehouse Committee is running in the Pittsburgh Marathon Relay to raise money for YouthPlaces, an amazing charity in Pittsburgh, PA focusing on under served youth in high-risk communities, where few other agencies operate. 

YouthPlaces develops the skills of the youth we serve, and in doing so, we increase their opportunity for success. YouthPlaces commit themselves daily to their mission because, in the end, our youth deserve a chance to succeed. To us, success takes no single form. Our steadfast hope is that through our help, youth find their own way in the world as they transition into happy, healthy, productive and responsible adults. And as they do, we firmly believe that they will lift their communities with them, helping to realize a better future for Pittsburgh as a whole.

Youthplaces offers specialized programming and community connections that provide underserved youth with the hope and life skills needed to overcome obstacles. Our youth are at the center of everything that we do, and we challenge them to unlock their fullest potential by providing the tools they need along the way. By investing in their strengths and abilities, we are able to refine their focus and help them along their path to success. 

By running for Youthplaces, our miles will be dedicated to youth all around the Pittsburgh area. Some of the ways that funds raised would be used at Youthplaces:

$15 - would feed one of our youth dinner for an entire week 

$25 - provides one youth with a YP Swag Bag (hygiene supplies, school supplies, basic necessities)

$50 - provides materials needed for our programs.  
$75 - sponsors one of our youth for a 6 week program.

$100 - sponsors a youth to play on our Youthplaces Basketball team.

$250 - contributes to our youth going on our Fun Friday Field Trips to places they have never been.

$500 - provides a recent YP Graduate with a semester of textbooks.

$1,000 - sponsors a student on our annual college tour.
