Help us raise money

Autism is a neurological disorder that affects different spheres of a child's development limiting multiple aspects in their lives whether it is on an emotional, social, educational, professional level and more.

I have been fortunate enough to work closely with children with autism and I have gotten very attached to every person I have met. They made me realize how inspiring they are and have taught me valuable life lessons. Unfortunately, society lacks awareness and education on the limited resources and opportunities available for children with autism. 

For the occasion, I chose to run and raise money on behalf of Autism Speaks Canada. This charity is there to help create a kinder, more inclusive country for people with autism. Their mission is to enhance lives today and accelerate a spectrum of solutions for tomorrow by supporting and working with community partners; enhance resources and services; increase understanding, acceptance and inclusion of people with autism spectrum disorder; and advance research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

We have to do our part and support children with autism and their families so we can give them equal opportunities to grow and excel. You can do it by joining my team and helping me raise money and awareness for the autism community through this awesome event that is The Ottawa Race Weekend.

I will be running the 42.2km for the occasion but all distances from the 2k to the full marathon are welcome on the team. If you cannot make it on that weekend but would still like to help, any small donation is very appreciated and will greatly help this cause.
