Our story…
On June 5th, 2021 I experienced a significant injury to my right ankle. An ambulance ride and emergency surgery led to crutches for months, follow ups and a LOT of physio...but I'm back baby! And what better way of marking the 1 year anniversary of my injury than with a run? And what's a run without a good cause am I right?!
I'm a "Dollar a Day"-er already, and I've connected with them about using this chance to raise some funds for their cause. What they do is some fantastic work supporting front-line mental health and addictions programs across Canada. Here is a link to their site for more info: https://adollaraday.ca/
I've been lucky to have a ton of support and encouragement throughout this process, but not everyone has access to the same level of help as they deal with their own battles. So if you're up to support a great cause please feel free to throw a Dollar (or two) their way!
