Help us raise money

With Run for a Reason, we are raising funds for The Ottawa Hospital Foundation! In the last two years The Ottawa Hospital has done more for our family then we could ever imagine.  My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 Medullary Thyroid Cancer 2 years ago at the young age of 29.  He has had a number of surgeries and underwent radiation at The Ottawa Hospital, where he was and continues to be so well taken care of.  Although his cancer has spread to other parts of his body, and currently there is no cure, we believe raising money for The Ottawa Hospital Foundation will help in creating a cure for MTC one day.  

This is our first year doing Run for a Reason and I'm really excited to help more patients like my husband in our community.  If you would like to be a part of it (but hate the idea of running), you can help me raise my goal of $10,000 to fund great healthcare - or dust off those sneakers and join me anyway!
