Pauanui Half Marathon 2024

The minimum age for the Half Marathon is 16 years of age on race day. Children under 16 years of age may enter the 4.5km and 10km events.

REGISTRATION

Online registrations will be open until Saturday, 16th March 2024 8.00am.

Late entries: Late entries will be accepted at the Registration/Race bib collection on Friday evening. Late entries may incur an additional fee of $10.

RACE BIB COLLECTION

• Race bib collection: Competitors must pick up their race bib at either the Friday night pre-event registration at the Pauanui Village Centre from 3.30pm-8.00pm, or at the Saturday morning pre-event registration (6:30am -7:30am) at the Pauanui Beach Surf Life Saving Club. We advise competitors to aim for the Friday night race bib pickup if possible.
• Race bib placement and electronic timing chip: The race bib containing the entrant’s race number must be placed low on the front of your singlet or shirt where it is clearly visible. The timing bar code is on the reverse of the race number.

COURSE

• Course cut-off: The course closes at 12:30pm on Saturday, 16 March 2024.
• Prizegiving will be held at 12:30pm at race HQ (Pauanui Surf Life Saving Club reserve, Pauanui Boulevard). Our age group category winners will be award their respective awards including presenting our top athletes in each division. Our spot prizes will also be awarded at this time. If your name/ number is drawn for a spot prize, you must be preset to collect this award.
• Aid stations will be provided at the Pauanui Beach Surf Life Saving Club reserve, at the 4.5km mark, 10.5km mark and at the 16.5km mark. You can see aid stations on the course map. We will only have water refill stations at the aid stations as we are a cupless event. Pauanui Half Marathon collapsible cups can be purchased on our event registration platform or at registration/race bib pick up.

ENTER AS A TEAM

The Teams Challenge is a great team-building exercise and an excellent way to motivate your team, colleagues, families and friends to achieve a personal challenge together.

Your team can choose to race in any of our three race distances and all are welcome to either run or walk.
