My Story…
After my recent surgery for Endometriosis I am finally out of pain and I hoping it won't be back anytime soon. So I am planning like it won't be! I am a teacher at KGMS and I love my job. We regularly teach the children to face their challenges/dislikes so I thought I should lead by example!
Description
I'm running for Kenneth Gordon Maplewood School! Donate to help me raise money to support K-12 students with learning differences. All funds raised will go towards KGMS Student Financial Aid, and all donations over $20 will receive a tax receipt.
By supporting my run, you are:
- Supporting a healthier family life: KGMS assists and eases the heartache and stress that school struggles bring home. We provide in-school OG tutoring and the support and guidance that many families must seek outside of a traditional school environment.
- Supporting the value of education, inclusion and fairness: your donation will provide equitable access for children who learn differently. By donating, you help us continue to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for our K-12 students.
- Honouring the KGMS teachers, tutors, counsellors and support staff who have made a difference in a child's life, and for the essential work they do every day. You are helping a child understand that they are capable and deserving of a bright future.
