At Cape Chignecto, towering 180 m (600 ft.) sea cliffs rise from the Bay of Fundy, while the world's highest tides lap at their base. Best described as a wilderness park, it has 29 km (18 mi.) of pristine coastline, deep valleys, sheltered coves, rare plants, and remnant old-growth forests. The park offers over 53 km (33 mi) of wilderness trails, a picnic area overlooking the Bay of Fundy, and remote walk-in campsites. Cape Chignecto provides an excellent opportunity for wilderness hiking, back-country camping and sea kayaking.

There will be 5 possible distances:
The Rockhammer is 8-ish kms for beginners.
The Sledgehammer is 20-ish kms for those that want a bit of a beating.
And for those that want a Jackhammering while on the trails, we offer this:
Jackhammer x 1 lap of the full park is 51ish kms
Jackhammer x 2 laps... is 102ish kms
or...
Jackhammer x 3 laps is 153ish kms (with an added option to complete the Rockhammer distance at the end for a 100miler distance!)
It is time to get the full Jackhammering you’ve always wanted.
And throughout your adventure we will be there to support you, no matter your distance. We want you to succeed.
Spots are very limited… so think long and hard about what you want to accomplish in 2022 and then sign up for this very exclusive event.
Each lap of the park is 48ish kms and a little over 2,000 meters of vert. So 3 laps of the park should give you over 6,000 meters of elevation!!

The Rockhammer (8ish kms) - $50 includes a bib (and a t-shirt until July 1st)…. you are now officially addicted to Cape Chignecto… just like the rest of us… welcome to the club!
The Sledgehammer (20ish kms) - $75 includes a bib (and a t-shirt until July 1st)…. you can wear them as you start planning your next trip to the park.
1 Jackhammering = 51ish kms - $125 includes a bib, a long sleeve shirt (until July 1st), and a medal… you can wear all three as you lay down for a post-Jackhammering ultra-nap.
2 Jackhammerings = 102ish kms - $175 includes a bib for you, a bib for your pacer, a hoodie (until July 1st), and a medal… and a raised eyebrow… two laps is a special kind-of jackhammering.
3 Jackhammerings = 153ish kms - $200 includes a bib for you, a bib for your pacer, a hoodie (until July 1st) and a buckle…. And the ultimate respect … because you have accomplished an impressive, and severe, Jackhammering the likes of which very few people can say they have had.

Please note:
Maps will follow at a later date, as will as required items list for the runners doing a lap or 2, or 3.
There will be checkpoints/aid stations/cheering sections in certain areas to keep track of the runners. Drop bag service will be available. First Aid will be on site.
We will be looking for volunteers to help us with this event. All Volunteers will receive a free t-shirt and snacks. So contact us if you, or someone you know, would like to be a part of this epic adventure.
And because we are a Not-For-Profit, all of the Profits from this event are going back into the community.

If you are unable to attend, we will offer you a 50% refund until August 1st 2022. Let us know by August 1st and we will send you an EMT.
