My Story…
Hi, Amelia here! Thank you for supporting my TREMENDOUS MARATHON FUNDRAISING PAGE.
In October I'll be running my very first marathon ever, and who knows if it will be my last... I guess we'll just have to see how it goes! But I'm happy to be pushing myself to the limit with long runs, speed workouts, and cross training in the hopes of convincing some of you to contribute to a brilliant local organization called QUEERSPACE collective. QUEERSPACE works with LGBTQ+ youth & their families, the broader LGBTQ+ community and local organizations to create a strengthened LGBTQ+ support network and reduce LGBTQ+ youth isolation, suicide and homelessness. Through training, education and our mentorship program, we strive to create inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ youth from all backgrounds to be seen and celebrated as their authentic selves.
My goal is to mobilze 1000 buckeroos between my money and yours, so please join me!
