If you know me, you know I absolutely adore dogs! While I have 2 furbabies of my own, I am an active foster for RuffStart Rescue - I currently have our 7th foster. While each foster takes a piece of my heart with them, I see my role as a foster is to scoop dogs up from unfortunate situations, give them a nice bath, a soft bed, consistent meals (and treats!) and a whole lotta love! I truly believe every dog deserves the chance to experience 'the good life'.
While volunteering with RuffStart, I have fostered some really sick puppies. RuffStart never hesitates with ensuring these dogs get the absolutely best vetting care and support - it is truly touching to experience and be apart of. Similar to many organizations, RuffStart has been hit hard post-pandemic. The number of fosters and donations have significantly declined! While loving up on some puppies, the least I can do is run a few miles to give animals the best chance at the good life after a truly 'ruff start'. Thank you so much for supporting me and my passion!
Description
Donate to help me raise money for Ruff Start Rescue - the charity I selected as part of the Twin Cities Marathon fundraising program! Ruff Start Rescue is a foster-based animal rescue that saves dogs, cats, and critters (guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc) that's located in central Minnesota. Last year they rescued 3,400 animals from unsafe and unhealthy situations and found loving homes for them.
