Our Story
For our 4th year running the Sporting Life 10k, we have continued the tradition of asking some very special friends to join Team Lara to help raise funds for one of Laraʼs very dearest of places, Campfire Circle (formerly Camp Ooch). Since her diagnosis at age 2, Campfire Circle/Camp Ooch has come to mean so much to our whole family.
After two years doing the SL10k “virtually” we are extremely pleased to finally be back on Yonge Street running with thousands of others in support of kids and families affected by childhood cancer who desperately need the magic of camp experience in their lives.
We will be running the SL10k in person on Sunday May 8th this year. If you are able to help Lara raise funds so kids with cancer can enjoy camp like she did, rest assured even small amounts like $10 are most welcome.
