We need YOU to join the Run Calgary Volunteer Crew at the 2022 Calgary Marathon race weekend!
The 58th running of the Calgary Marathon will be taking place on Sunday, May 29, and we need energetic and enthusiastic volunteers throughout the race weekend to make this Calgary tradition the best race event yet. 7000 in-person and virtual runners and walkers will be toeing the start line to chase their finish line goals, and volunteers play a critical role in making those dreams happen. Volunteer shifts take place Thursday May 26 through Sunday May 29, and we have over 1000 spots to fill with valued volunteers like yourself!
How do we support and appreciate our volunteers?

- R.C.V.C. (Run Calgary Volunteer Crew) T-shirt - inaugural navy 2022 edition
- Volunteer food options and refreshments for all volunteer shifts
- Online volunteer orientation training sessions to prepare you for race weekend

- An extraordinary experience that brings together race participants, spectators, volunteers and the Calgary community
We are seeking groups who want to volunteer together! If you are part of a run club, team, company, or organization, please email volunteer@calgarymarathon.com to discuss how we can get your group involved. Your group may be eligible for an honorarium.
Health, wellness, and safety is our top priority - we will follow the guidelines set out by provincial and public health officials at the time of the event, and require that all in-person participants, volunteers, and staff show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test completed within 72 hours of volunteer shift start time or participant race start (these policies are subject to change based on the current environment).
