Help Kelan raise money

Convinced by our friend, Chris Kreuger, we signed up for the Subaru Half Marathon! Brittany, a long distance lover has been known drag Kelan on a few “I know a short cut” 14km runs, while Kelan’s more of a super speedy 5km runner. 

This’ll be our longest run yet, and while we may be dragging ourselves over the finish line, we’re motivated by organizations committed to making lasting change. To help keep us moving, we’re raising money for The Doorway. 

The Doorway is a direct community response that assists young people on the street in Calgary choosing to rejoin society, “‘On the street’ does not refer to a socio-economic condition or environmental circumstance. Rather, it describes a belief system and a conceptual perspective. The streets aren’t under your feet; they’re in your scalp.” Helping young people transition off of the streets involves changing the way they view themselves and the world around them. -Street Culture 2.0.
