My Story…
We've all watched in horror as the terrible events in the Ukraine unfold. Millions of Ukrainians have fled the violence and now face a very uncertain future. This has given my wife Mia and I reason to reflect on how fortunate we are here in Canada and has driven us to want to help in anyway possible. We recently signed up for the Centaur Run during this years Calgary Marathon on May 29th, 2022. After reflection we decided to run for a cause, to raise awareness and funds for those Ukrainian people and families displaced by the War in the Ukraine through the Centre For Newcomers/Ukraine.
We are reaching out looking for donations to help these unfortunate people and families! All donations go directly to the Centre For Newcomers/Ukraine.
Even if the donation is the cost of buying a cup of coffee for a refugee, it will be greatly appreciated.
