There are kids in our community who go to school without a healthy lunch or snacks, and it’s not easy to learn on an empty stomach.

BB4CK is the largest community funded free lunch program in Canada. They feed more than 5,100 kids a day in more than 200 Calgary schools. I’ve joined volunteer groups in south Calgary a number of times to make these lunches, and it’s this community support that sets BB4CK apart!

Thanks to nearly 400 volunteers each week, they are able to make lunches on a budget of $2.50/lunch, while providing a sandwich, fruits, veggies, yogurt and a snack every school day. 

I’m running 21.1km with some great Calgary-Shaw constituents… help me in supporting BB4CK as they feed and care for kids in Calgary.
