Welcome to the pre-Pride Parade in-person LOVE IS LOVE MILE.
Run Calgary is teaming up with Calgary Pride to deliver a safe, welcoming and new event experience. Run or walk on the parade route just in advance of the parade commencement. Compete against others based on your predicted finish time. Register to begin in one of 4 heats based on your estimated finish time. Awards are based on your chosen heat and are irrespective of your gender or how you identify.
Enjoy the excitement and buzz of parade morning and run on closed downtown Calgary streets before joining the Run Calgary cheer zone to watch the Pride Parade.
Like all Run Calgary events, this is an inclusive event and everyone is welcome.
Fundraising for Calgary Pride and making fitness more accessible to the LGBTQ2S+ community, Love is Love Mile brings two exceptional communities together for the first time in person in 2022.

Running with a group, organization, family, or run club? Register three or more participants at one time in the same interaction and receive an automatic 10% discount.
Virtual Race Information
Run your race, your pace.... anytime and anyplace!
Purchase your registration and select to collect your swag by curbside pickup or to have it mailed to you. Run your race anywhere and anytime during Pride Week.
We encourage registered participants to track their run using RunKeeper, where your results will automatically sync with your Race Roster account and load right onto the Love is Love Mile leaderboard. Alternatively, screen capture any fitness app or watch (Garmin, Fitbit etc.) and manually upload your time.
All registered participants will receive detailed instructions for completing their virtual race prior to the start of the race period.
GST and Processing Fees
Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.
Refund Policy
- Entry fees are non-refundable. No exceptions.
- No race day registration or race changes. No refunds, transfers, medical comps or deferrals.
- Run Calgary has partnered with RegShield and you can purchase a protection policy on your registration if you have to cancel or can't make the event. RegShield is a protection product made for athletes by athletes. It provides coverage for 17 different roadblocks. These are the reasons that most athletes are unable to compete in their events. - Should the race not be able to go ahead because of local and provincial restrictions due to the pandemic or for any other reason, all registrants will automatically be converted into a virtual event
