Day-of Race check-in begins at 7:30am.
Participants can start their race anytime between 8am - 10am.

We have several registration options, so you can pick the best fit for your family and pets. If you're joining us in-person, check in will begin at 7:30am with the start line opening at 8am. Participants can start their race anytime between 8am - 10am.

*Please note that if you register after 11:59 pm on March 13th you will not receive a shirt at the packet pickups or on race day. If you would like to receive a shirt please register before then.
Fast & Furriest COVID Guidelines:
- If you have a fever, cough, or other symptoms, we ask that you remain home and complete the race virtually when you are feeling better.
- If you have recently been exposed to COVID-19 and you are NOT up to date on COVID-19 vaccinations, we ask that you please remain at home and complete the race virtually.
- If you were exposed to COVID-19 AND you are up-to-date on COVID-19 vaccinations or you have had COVID-19 within the past 90 days, and you do not have any symptoms on the day of the race then we ask that you wear a well-fitting mask and social distance from other participants.
Packet Pickup Information:
Runners who have registered before will receive their race bib and t-shirt at packet pickups (t-shirt is only for those that register before 11:59pm on March 13).
- Wednesday. March 23 from 3pm-6pm - Hollywood Feed at 1001 North Germantown Pkwy in Cordova
- Thursday. March 24 from 3pm-6pm - Hollywood Feed at 4864 Poplar Avenue
- Friday, March 25 from 11am-2pm - The Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County at 935 Farm Road
- Friday, March 25 from 3pm-6pm - Hollywood Feed at 434 Collins Street
What does it mean to run or walk a VIRTUAL race?
We wanted to make it easy to participate in the Fast & Furriest 5K for out-of-town runners and walkers or anyone taking extra COVID-19 precautions. By registering as a virtual runner, you can run the 5k anytime from March 1 - 26. You can do so in your own neighborhood or at one of our pre-selected 5K courses around Memphis. You can find these courses by visiting our Virtual race tab. Once you run your 5K, return to your registration page and enter your race time. This will ensure that you are included in the results posted after the race. And of course, all participants are encouraged to customize their fundraising page and raise money to help us care for injured animals in our community.
Fundraise to become a Humane Hero!
When you register, you will automatically have a fundraising profile. Make sure to customize this page, and share with your friends to gather donations. Every person that raises $100 or more will receive on of our Humane Hero tshirts!
Please note: In the event of cancellation due to extenuating circumstances, all registration fees will be viewed as donations and are non-refundable.
