I Love Coffee 5k Road Run

Here are the final FYIs for I Love Coffee 5k next Sunday January 23rd:

-Race is held at Hawthorne Park 500 Ackerman Drive Porter, Indiana 46304. We will be in the community center that is where you get your packet or if you need to sign up. Bathrooms are located in the community center too.

-Race day sign ups begin at 8:15 am CST. Packet pick up will begin at 8:15 am as well. Race day fee will be $45 payable by cash, check or Venmo.

-Race started at 9:00 am central time. Our friends from Tempo Run Timing and Events will be timing the race. Please check them out at https://www.temporuntiming.com/

-Weather forecast for Sunday is high of 22 degrees with cloudy skies.

-All runners/walkers will be receiving coffee cup, 5 raffle tickets and coffee theme baseball hat. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for $1. The raffle will feature Death Wish Coffee Items check out their website https://www.deathwishcoffee.com/ . The raffle will start after the awards ceremony.

-The course is on town streets and the pavement bike trail. The course is marked with flags and arrow signs at major turns. There is no aid on the course if you need water/Gatorade please carry your own.

-Town of Porter highly recommends individuals to wear masks regardless of vaccination status while in the community center.

-Snacks, Deathwish coffee, water and Gatorade will be available in the community center after you finish.

- I will have old hats and race shirts for sale for $5 each or 3 items for $10. Extra “I Love Coffee 5k” mugs are available for purchase for $10

Get your 2022 off right by running through the street of the Town of Porter, Indiana. I have rented Hawthorne Park Community Center so we will be inside for sign ups, packet pick up, post race food and award ceremony. Coffee is the name of the game and that means Deathwish Coffee the "Strongest Coffee in the World" of course https://www.deathwishcoffee.com/. We will have Deathwish Coffee brewing and some snack as well. We will have a raffle which includes Deathwish Coffee items. Time to be #fueledbydeath. Entry fee include five raffle tickets, coffee mug and coffee baseball cap.
