Raise money for Crohn's and Colitis Canada
The Whistler Half Marathon was created with a desire to help fund research for cures to Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Imagine living with daily abdominal pain and nausea. Imagine limiting your activities because you need access to a washroom. This is what living with IBD can be like for patients. Crohn's and Colitis affects 240,000 Canadians and 1.6 million Americans. That is a huge number.
We are determined to raise awareness and be a part of the fight for cures. As a registrant of the Whistler Half Marathon we hope you consider joining us with a donation in support of the world leading research funded through Crohn's and Colitis Canada. We whole heartedly believe that each and every dollar will help cure these diseases within our lifetime and most importantly improve the lives of those we care about.
