LAST FYI’s before the race please read over the information below and shoot me any questions you may have:
-Tryon Farm Institute, Inc. (TFI) will be setting up grills to prepare FREE FOOD including Beyond burgers, beef burgers, bratwursts and corn for all of you. Because of your support of this race I will be donating $600 to TFI
-We are central time please keep that in mind.
-Online sign ups are closed but we have race day sign ups beginning at 7:15 am. You can pick up your packet at that time as well. Race day sign ups entry fees $70 for 8 Miler, $80 for 25k and $110 for 50k Venmo, cash and check will be accepted for payment.
-BEER! Zorn Brewery will be on hand to provide you with a beer once you completed your distance
-Unfortunately, I informed on Monday our timing company is unable to time our event. Although I am very disappointed and upset the show will go on. I will time it manually so please place your bib on front of your shirt. Volunteers and I will be doing our best to track your laps especially for 50k runners. But please help me out if you are finishing yell at me to let me know you are finishing so I can get your finishing time recorded.
-You can pick up your packet on Friday for 5-7 pm at Zorn Brewery 605 E 9th St, Michigan City, IN 46360. If you plan on coming shoot me a text at 219-873-6296 and I will have you packet ready.

-You will need to park across the street at Niemann Elementary School 811 Royal Rd, Michigan City, IN 46360 as parking is very limited at the start/finish area.
-It is 4-mile loop course so 8 miler = 2 loops, 25k = 4 loops and 50k = 8 loops
-50k starts at 8:00 am Central Time and 8 miler/25k starts at 9:00 am
-8-hour time limit for the 50k and 7-hour time limit for 8 miler/25k
-You can have a pacer for 50k or 25k after you complete your first two loops
-We will be using Hammer Nutrition for our sport drink. If you use something else, please bring it. Our main station at the start/finish will have ultra-food stuff like chips, pretzels. M & M's, water and granola bars. If there is a certain food you like you feel free to bring it. I will set a table by the aid station you can use to place stuff you need to get each loop.
-Weather: forecast predicts low of 58 and high 78
-Overall male and female in each distance will receive a medal and Starbucks gift card. All runners that complete their distance will receive $20 off their entry fee into the 2023 edition of the race. Tentative date would be Saturday, September 23rd 2023
