Our Story

Spinal Cord Injury BC connects people with spinal cord injuries and related physical disabilities with the support, peer mentorship, community events, and resources they need to live well. We’re dedicated to helping people with a new injury, their families, and those faced with the challenges of living and aging with a disability.

Description

After two years of providing critical services to members of our community during a global pandemic, we need your help to continue. COVID has greatly affected the mental and physical health of people living with SCI and we have seen the impact of isolation, anxiety, and medical concerns throughout the province we serve. In response, our Peer Program and Information Services have transitioned online to provide support, answer questions, host events and foster meaningful connections between people struggling with similar challenges - but we need your help to make sure this continues! This will be our 10th year of racing and we are so excited to be back!
