Challenge Alberta
Experience Alberta!
Challenge Alberta is a fitness event tasking teams to walk, run, cycle or ski the total distance across Alberta from Saskatchewan River Crossing to Cold Lake Alberta. Each time anyone on your team completes a portion of your selected activity, your team advances along an interactive map towards the finish line.
Team members can be located anywhere in the world!
Start any time after the challenge begins on January 8th, 2022.
Registration will remain open until Feb 28th, 2022!
The Alberta Challenge ends on March 31st, 2022.
How it Works
Teams use Virtual Baton app and to complete the Challenge Alberta team challenge.
You’ll use the app to manage your team, and move along the course.
Virtual baton app connects with your fitness app to sync your distance to the challenge.
If you are not a fitness app user, you are upload your distances manually in the Virtual Baton App!
1 - Assemble Your Team
Register for the event and put together a team. Your team members can be located anywhere in the world!
2 - Add Distance
Add your activities with your fitness app or manually upload distances in Virtual Baton to add your distance to your team total. Start any time after ary 8th, 2022.
3 - Finish to Unlock Awards
Follow your team’s progress on the leaderboard and on an interactive map to watch your team move along the course.
Complete the goal distance to unlock special awards as your team travels towards the finish line.
